Kartalkaya Otel Yangınında 4 Kişi Gözaltına Alındı
Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç announced that 4 individuals have been detained in relation to the hotel fire in Kartalkaya.
Following the fire disaster in Kartalkaya, Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç shared a statement on his social media account.
According to his remarks, 4 individuals have been taken into custody, including the hotel owner, as part of the ongoing investigation initiated by the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
“The judicial investigation into the hotel fire in Bolu Kartalkaya, which claimed the lives of 66 of our citizens, is being conducted thoroughly and from multiple angles.
As part of the investigation, which involves 6 public prosecutors, 4 individuals, including the business owner, have been detained.
Expert examinations are ongoing by a 5-member committee to determine the cause of the fire, and efforts are being made to identify any culpability. Each phase of the investigation is being carried out with great care and sensitivity.
Once again, I pray for the souls of our citizens who lost their lives in this disaster, and I wish patience to their families, as well as quick recovery to the injured.
I extend my best wishes to all citizens affected by the fire and hope that such tragedies will never occur again.”
The death toll in the Bolu hotel fire has risen to 66
A fire at a hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Resort was brought under control after approximately 10 hours of intervention. It has been reported that 66 people lost their lives and 51 others were injured in the incident.
